FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The face of our business world changed on September 11, 2001.

For the London based corporation Genesis Controls and Cable (GC and C) international opportunity knocked on its door.

The High-Technology Corporation GC and C has been awarded a major contract to supply the Canadian Forces Power Distribution Systems (CPDS) with the design and manufacturing of Electrical Cables. CPDS units distribute electrical power from portable generator systems to military units deployed in the field during military operations. The deliveries of systems have been moved ahead because of immediate urgency after the events of September 11.

GC and C is a manufacturer of Control Systems, Electrical Wiring Harnesses and Cables. Manufacturing of these goods is not an important issue to the average Canadian. It does become important however, when these items are used to help the Canadian Military do its job. And, the Canadian Military helps to keep all Canadians safe.

GC and C Director of New Business Development, Mr. Roy van Amerom has twenty-five years experience with electrical designs. Roy oversees the GC and C operation located on Oxford Street East in London. Mr. van Amerom states, "This contract illustrates the ability GC and C has to bring real value to the Canadian Military. Our customer requested earlier deliveries of the cables and we were able to meet this critical request."

The Canadian Military is not the only group that has access to the skills of GC and C. Companies like Volvo Motor Graders are benefiting from the local London quality and service of GC and C. This London Corporation also manufactures wire harnesses and electrical cables for off-road vehicles and heavy construction machinery.

GC and C Corporation was developed through the London Small Business Centre.
